"That Panik is preparing a new album is not a secret for
anyone. Some songs from it were even played in concerts, but the exact date of a release of an album, as well as its name, is not certain yet: musicians promise
to release them „somewhere in the beginning of summer”. Well, before summer,
practically nothing will happen.
Now rapper Timo Sonnenschein presents readers compositions from a long-awaited album..
Unsere Zeit – with this song we wish to give a hope for our admirers. If there’s an aim which the person believes in and endeavours at it, it means that he/she will reach it!
Morgenkaffee – there’s a special
story connected with this one – but we shouldn’t tell that yet… When we’ve hung
out this name on a site, it has puzzled our fans, and we don’t want to reveal the secret before the time has come!
Wollt nur wissen –
David has written the music for this one, the text – Christian’s. Very sad song with the surprising end.
Irgendwann – I wouldn’t tell that we have written this song up to the end. It is still being written. More precisely, it’s still getting to be born. Probably, it will be the first single from the album. But I can’t tell that surely! It is one of those cases when you work on a song for a long time and with enthusiasm, but you can’t reach the ideal result in any way and make a song as you see it.
Jeder – this one is already known to many listeners. We played it quite often in the last year. We like a lot how it sounds: quick, with amazing guitar riffs and DJ’s part.
Was würdest du tun
– this song is the one which presents a sound to the concept of our new album. We composed it in the last year and, apparently, each fan already knows it, that it will be in a new album!
San Diego – oh, this song is „Panik-way” style. Didn’t understand? „Star-way” Have you seen it? Well, this song is also about traveling, actually, not in space (laughs). It is completely different from all that we did earlier. It’s very cheerful song! (laughs)
Keiner merkt es – Ballade. Wonderful, rock-ballade.
Very strong and fair. I think there’s nothing more I can add to it.
Ein letztes Mal - we have written this song per 2007. You’ve already heard it on the previous album „Niemand hört dich”. Very stylish. It’s a song-bridge that connects the old and the new album.
Noch nicht tot – this song was also often played live. However, the studio version sounds a bit different. We are still improving it – and then it will be my favourite song! (laughs) Wonderful guitar griffs and super beat. And the songtext is very autobiographical: we have passed through everything that is described in it.
Wir geben’s zu – at the moment it is my favourite song. It has amazing beat and remarkable coolness (laughs) We are all people who travel across the Earth searching the happiness. Everyone aspires to their dream as to unattainable horizon. This song is all about this…
Kinder – this title doesn’t mean anything! Anything! The album, probably, will begin with it. That’s a sprightly rap-joke.
Bevor du gehst – one more beautiful acoustic number.
Only the acoustic guitar and one more surprising tool, we have found here in studio, will sound. It’s so old, that you , probably, don’t know that such pieces exist at all. (laughs) But this tool sounds very interesting.
