After a 17 hour journey (10 hours 30 minutes in planes) we arrived to our destination Mahabalipuram. I’ll try to summarize everything that has happened till now with a couple of pictures and my commentary.

Hamburg Airport at 05:50am, our queue by the Gate to Brussels.

We were supposed to fly with “Air Brussels” from Hamburg to Brussels. I’ve never heard about this company before, also the machine “Turbo Prop” seemed unknown to me. I fly often, but I have to say, that I’ve never experienced before, that the same person who did our check-in also worked at our boarding gate. I had doubts because of that – anyways, I didn’t have to, because the flight in a small 90-passenger-machine was totally alright (except the pretty loudly crying baby in the row in front of us.

When we arrived in Brussels, we had a little breakfast, we waited for a bit and then we went to Jet Airways

The flight was very comfortable. One barely realizes, when those huge plains gain speed and at once, it’s flying 1000km/h (no joke!) through the air. We had to meals, both – like we assumed – were Indian-spicy, that’s why I ate decently and I reached for my crackers to nourish myself with. :)

There was a boardcomputer (in the tv screen) for every passenger – already standard – but what I didn’t know until now were text messages, emails and phone calls to the ground. You pay with the credit card and then you can use the internet, or call home – if you want to. Crazy ..

So, we arrived this evening (local time), now it’s shortly after lunch, I am going to relax for a bit, honestly, I am still really tired from the journey here.
